BEN CHORLEY has been a revelation this season after a lengthy spell on the sidelines and he completed a hat-trick here after making most of therunning. His jockey reported that he disliked the "tacky" ground, but he was always bossing this field, even though he did not win with much in hand.
Observatory Star, who went for a run up the inside as the race developed, was briefly short of room, and may have lost his momentum for a stride or two as the winner went for home. He kept on pretty well under hands and heels riding, but he was never able to get to the winner.
