Analyis of the race
Plenty of pace on here, and the first two home, DICKIE LE DAVOIR and Mandarin Spirit came from behind. Dickie Le Davoir, who has been in fine form of late and is due to go up 9lb after this race, will obviously have to find further improvement if he is to continue his winning run off his new mark, but he may well have it in him.
Mandarin Spirit, below his best at Lingfield last time, turned in a better effort here, but he was winning off an 18lb higher mark at the start of last year and is notproving easy to place as he continues to decline.
