Jaconet made all far side, clear over 2f out, ridden over 1f out, just held on
Missus Molly Brown held up in touch stands' side, headway over 2f out, ridden well over 1f out, stayed on strongly inside final furlong, just failed
Jevington Star in rear stands' side, pushed along halfway, ridden and headway 2f out, stayed on strongly inside final furlong, nearest finish
Mandalay King close up stands' side, ridden to lead that group 2f out, soon driven and weakened entering final furlong
Only A Splash close up stands' side, led that group halfway, ridden and headed 2f out, soon driven and kept on same pace
Terandeil dwelt and in rear stands' side, headway halfway, ridden over 2f out and plugged on same pace
Caught In Paradise in touch far side, effort over 2f out, soon ridden and kept on same pace
Maahe dwelt and in rear stands' side, headway halfway, ridden along 2f out and soon no impression
Best Suited towards rear stands' side, ridden along over 2f out, never a factor
Carlton Mac in touch far side, ridden along halfway, soon driven and no impression
Bungie dwelt and towards rear far side, headway and in touch halfway, ridden over 2f out and never dangerous
Mill Creek led stands' side, headed halfway, soon ridden along and weakened 2f out
Joint Agency chased winner far side, ridden along over 2f out, soon weakened
Stir Crazy chased leaders stands' side, ridden over 2f out and soon weakened
Splendidio always towards rear far side
Cryptic Clue chased leaders far side, ridden along halfway and soon weakened
Hapi always behind far side
But JACONET had decent claims on her best form, so much so that she would have been meeting all 16 rivals on worse terms in a handicap, and she appeared to be rejuvenated by first-time blinkers, making all among the far-side group, clear of that bunch from 2f out and just holding on. She was no helped by having to race without company in the latter stages and is probably capable of a little better, though she will need to be if she is to win outside this company.
Jevington Star finished well and shaped as though he needs to revert to a longer trip, whereas Mandalay King ran just about his best race on this drop down in distance. The first four came clear of the dropped-in-grade Only A Splash and Terandeil, though Caught In Paradise was not entirely disgraced as the second home in the far-side group.
