Rainbow Dash buried away in midfield, progress on inner 3f out, driven to challenge over 1f out, briefly outpaced by runner-up, rallied to lead inside final furlong, stayed on well
Leyte Gulf steadied start, held up well in rear, smooth progress from 4f out, shaken up and effort over 2f out, led over 1f out and looked certain winner, headed and not quicken inside final furlong
Moonshine Beach pressed leader, led over 2f out, driven and headed over 1f out, one pace
Foreign King tracked leaders, ridden over 3f out, plugged on final 2f but never pace to trouble leaders

Title Deed mostly in midfield, under pressure and not on terms 3f out, no chance final 2f
Left Hand Drive ridden in last before halfway, always struggling after
Kanisorn dwelt, always well in rear and never going well, well beaten over 2f out
Ganymede held up in midfield on inner, effort over 3f out, weakened over 2f out
Whaxaar progress on outer to press leading pair after 6f, ridden over 4f out, soon weakened, tailed off
Leyte Gulf has knocked on the door several times this year and looked sure to break his duck only for his stamina to run out. Foreign King has had problems and been lightly raced. This fair effort gives his connections something to build on.
Whaxaar, rushed up into contention with a circuit to travel, went backwards at a rate of knots as if something was amiss.
