Candle Sahara led 1f, led again halfway, hard ridden over 1f out, all out
Wise Hawk tracked leader, pulled hard, ridden and every chance from over 1f out, hung right inside final furlong, not run on
Seeking The Star edged right start, raced keenly, led 6f out, headed halfway, ridden over 1f out, stayed on same pace
Style Icon held up, headway over 1f out, never nearer
Coach And Four raced alone, held up in touch, ridden over 2f out, hung left over 1f out, one pace
Azure Mist slowly into stride, held up, ridden halfway, never nearer
Darley Star prominent, ridden over 3f out, weakened 2f out
Sunny Sprite held up in touch, ridden over 2f out, soon weakened
Marraasi hampered start, tracked leaders, ridden over 2f out, soon weakened
Adab held up, headway halfway, ridden and weakened over 1f out
Kirkie prominent 5f
Candida´s Beau chased leaders over 4f
Jerry Hamilton slowly into stride, always in rear, ridden and weakened halfway
Wise Hawk was soon prominent and looked like he would push ahead when challenging over 1f out. However, no matter how hard his rider tried, he wouldn't go past the leader and maybe some headgear could prove the solution.
Style Icon was behind early on but kept on quite well in the closing stages and showed enough to suggest he can win in the right grade.
Coach And Four came in for plenty ofsupport and raced alone on the stands' side for the first half of the race, but the response when asked for was limited and he looks the sort who may need everything to drop right for him if he is to win.
