Miacarla towards rear stands' side, ridden 2f out, stayed on strongly entering final furlong, nearest finish
Distant Vision in rear on stands' side, ridden along 2f out, stayed on strongly inside final furlong, nearest finish
Niteowl Lad took keen hold, tracked leaders stands' side, switched left and headway 2f out, soon ridden and kept on same pace entering final furlong
Sands Crooner chased leaders stands' side, ridden 2f out and every chance until driven and weakened approaching final furlong
Strensall chased leaders far side, ridden along 2f out, soon one pace
Mr Rooney chased leaders stands' side, ridden along over 2f out and soon weakened
Spirit Of Coniston chased leader far side group, ridden along 2f out, soon one pace
Northern Chorus raced far side, ridden along over 2f and gradually weakened
Triple Shadow chased leaders stands' side, ridden 2f out and gradually weakened

Colorus, who came from an awkward draw, did well to finish second. He ought to be able to find a winning opportunity at this level.
Raccoon came out best of those who raced far side. He has been running well lately and his turn will surely come before too long.
Distant Vision, a stable-mate of Miacarla, produced a solid effort and is declared to run again at Hamilton today.
Of the others, Niteowl Lad gave notice of his well-being.
Strensall will be worth noting back at his favourite Catterick venue.
