Kudu Country chased leaders on outer, ridden along and outpaced well over 2f out, stayed on approaching final furlong

Blusher tracked leaders, effort 3f out, soon ridden and chased leading pair 2f out, driven and one pace approaching final furlong, lost 3rd near line

The Kilkenny Kat chased winner to halfway, prominent and ridden along well over 2f out, gradually weakened

Carter behind until some late headway

Dark Moment chased leaders, ridden along well over 2f out and soon one pace

A mixed bag for this maiden, which provided MOTOR HOME with a winning opportunity at his third attempt. Seemingly appreciating this extra furlong, he stuck to his task in grand style. He should remain competitive in nursery company.

Suruor, stepping up in trip, came out comfortably best of the rest, but he was always just coming off second-best to the winner and seemed to be hanging to his left, into the rails. He should improve with experience.

Although well held by the first two, Kudu Country shaped nicely, taking time to grasp what was required on his debut, but doing some solid work in the closing stages. This debut outing will have helped him greatly.

The remainder were five lengths and more behind, with The Kilkenny Kat, who chased the leaders, fading in the final two furlongs.

Ay Tay Tate lost his action and trailed the field throughout.
