Constant Cheers always prominent, ridden to lead 1f out, ran on well
Sceilin led, ridden and headed 1f out, no extra, just held on for 2nd
Ornella took keen hold towards rear, headway 2f out, soon ridden, ran on inside final furlong, just failed to take 2nd
Libre held up in mid-division, ridden and headway when edged left just over 1f out, one pace final furlong
Chia pulled hard towards rear, steady headway over 5f out, ridden and one pace final furlong
Gallego dwelt, held up in rear, stayed on final furlong, nearest finish
Inch Lodge took keen hold, chased leader until ridden over 1f out, weakened inside final furlong
Kangrina held up towards rear, ridden and headway 2f out, one pace final furlong
Sweet Seville held up in mid-division, ridden 2f out, soon struggling
Woodygo took keen hold in touch, pushed along over 3f out, ridden and weakened well over 1f out
Moonlight Fantasy slowly into stride, pulled hard towards rear, some headway 6f out, lost place over 3f out

Siena Star held up in mid-division, pushed along over 3f out, soon behind
Winter Cruise always in rear
Sceilin, second in a 1m2f Brighton seller last time, had more use made of her over this longer trip and, while she had no answer to the winner's late surge, she ran well enough to be worth persevering with at this distance.
Ornella, who has been running over significantly shorter distances, was restrained (racing keenly) well off the pace before keeping on well in the straight. The trip was evidently not a problem for her, but she will do better again if she can be taught to settle.
Kangrina never looked like getting in a blow and did not appear all that happy on the ground, while Moonlight Fantasy ruined his chance by fighting for his head for much of the race.
