DIRECTA'S DIGGER has been a revelation since switching to the Flat and made it two wins and two seconds in four runs with another polished performance. He was always travelling well for claimer Jack Dean and moved ahead just over a furlong out to quickly put the result beyond doubt.

Pegasus Prince has been in good form this season and was looking for his fourth win of the campaign, but though he came with a strong run in the closing stages he was never going to be in time to trouble the comfortable winner.
