Wiltshire had looked the potential winner when making his move on the far rail, but the ground may have been a tad slower on that side of the track and once the winner made his move there was no answer despite his best endeavours.
Brigadore was held up in the middle of the pack and did not get the best of runs when his rider wanted to go. He had to be switched and in the circumstances did well to finish as close as he did.
