Georgian King not fluent, tracked leaders, shaken up 3 out, led approaching 2 out, driven clear run-in

Tide Slider with leaders, led briefly before 2 out, 5 lengths down and well held when hit last

Black Mogul held up in last, went moderate 4th 3 out, kept on to take 3rd near finish

Gaelic Present led, quickened 7th, headed approaching 2 out, soon beaten

Picky held up in touch, ridden 7th, soon lost place, tailed off 2 out

Santo Subito tracked leaders, took keen hold, weakened after 7th, tailed off 2 out

Not a competitive event as GEORGIAN KING had by far the best credentials. However, he wasn't that convincing as he didn't jump that fluently after his fall last week, but though he travelled well, he had to be driven out to beat some modest rivals. He'll have a break and then go over fences in the autumn.

Black Mogul stayed on to take third with GaelicPresent, who raced up with the pace but faded, back in fourth.
