Seymour Weld made all, 4 lengths ahead when mistake last, held on well towards finish
Premier Dane held up, smooth headway to go 2nd 3 out, hard ridden to challenge 1f out, no extra towards finish
Magic Clover tracked leaders, ridden and weakened 3 out
Enhancer held up, shaken up 9th, chasing leaders next, weakened approaching 3 out, soon behind
Zirkel tracked leaders, slightly hampered 4th, reminders 10th, soon weakened, behind when hit 3 out, tailed off
He´s My Man prominent, jumped right 4th, lost place 5th, behind from 8th, tailed off when pulled up before 2 out
Premier Dane is a 139-rated hurdler, 36lb better than the winner, but he's not very big, and not the most natural of jumpers. He didn't make any bad mistakes, but lost a length at a few, and though he challenged after the last he couldn't peg back the winner. He may find a race over fences, but its doubtful that he'll prove as good a chaser as he was a hurdler.
Enhancer was again well beaten, and though a decent performer in his younger days, he hasn't found that form after a prolonged break.
Zirkel, who had blinkersback on, raced in second but was struggling from a long way out and was very disappointing.
