Another Moment raced keenly, held up, headway 3f out, went 2nd over 2f out, ridden to lead 1f out, edged right when on top towards finish
Star Lord chased leader, ridden to lead 3f out, soon edged right, headed 1f out, stayed on under pressure throughout final furlong
Give A Lot ran green and raced keenly, chased leaders, went 2nd 5f out until ridden over 3f out, one pace from over 1f out
Makin A Fuss held up in rear, pushed along over 3f out, stayed on final furlong, never able to challenge
Give Us A Gander held up, pushed along over 4f out, effort 3f out, weakened over 1f out
Private Aye led, ridden and headed 3f out, soon bumped, weakened over 1f out, eased when beaten inside final furlong
ANOTHER MOMENT had certainly shown the ability to wina race on his two previous outings and, though he raced keenly, he made headway from 3f out and led 1f out to score in workmanlike fashion, holding on despite edging right late on. He looks still to be learning the game.
Successful point-to-pointer Star Lord looked even more in need of the experience on this debut under rules, as he edged right when leading 3f out and rallied once headed 1f out. He should improve.
Makin A Fuss was outpaced from over 4f out but stayed on for a never-dangerous fourth ahead of Give Us A Gander, who could not find the pace to challenge.
Private Aye led to 3f out and weakened 1f out - he has yet to fulfil the promise of his debut.
