Battle Stations led, reminders after 5th, headed 7th, edged right under pressure approaching 2 out, rallied to challenge last, stayed on gamely to lead final 100yds, in command after

Andrew Nick chased leaders, mistake 7th, outpaced approaching 3 out, tried to rally 2 out, weakened last
Danny Zuko held up, headway 7th, close up when mistake 3 out, ridden when mistake 2 out, soon weakened
Sumner held up, pushed along approaching 3 out, well beaten 2 out, jumped right last
The Ice Bar held up, hit 4th, lost touch approaching 4 out, tailed off when pulled up before last
The winner still appeared inexperienced here, looking green in front as he led to the seventh flight and again as he edged right approaching two out, but he battled on gamely to lead in the final 100 yards. He has reportedly been tricky, both physically and mentally, and the fact that this was only the seven-year-old's fourth outing shows he has had problems. He should learn a good deal from this, though, and if he stays sound he could make a fair novice chaser in the autumn. He will probably be suited by 3m in time.
Andrew Nick had just as strong claims on the pick of his form but did not reproduce it, and was already beaten when making a mistake two out.
Danny Zuko made mistakes three out and two out and did not get home on this step up in trip.
