Harry Potter prominent, not clear run and lost place 3 out, soon hung left, switched right last, rallied and hung left flat, hard ridden to lead towards finish

Liberty Seeker held up in mid-division, headway after 7th, weakened flat
Just Intersky mid-division, not fluent 3 out, soon ridden and no real progress
Cellarmaster held up in mid-division, headway after 7th, weakened approaching last
Discomania never near leaders
Makandy soon prominent, ridden and weakened 7th
Wheelavit towards rear, reminders after 5th, hard ridden approaching 3 out, never dangerous
North Walk chased leader, led after 4th, blundered 7th, headed approaching 3 out, soon weakened
Kingscourt Lad led until after 4th, mistake 6th, weakened approaching last
Psychic Star chased leaders, ran in snatches, weakened approaching 3 out
Pole Dancer always behind
Marque Deposee always behind, tailed off 3 out, pulled up before last
He had not won a race for two years, has not always convinced with his attitude and he looked in trouble turning for home. But Paul Moloney never gave up on him and, with those in front showing their own deficiencies under pressure in the closing stages, the rider's efforts were rewarded on the run-in.
Three Ships, very disappointing here last time, was tried without cheekpieces this time and ran a much better race as a result, finding enough to repel the half-hearted challenge of Bond Cruz on the run-in before having the prize snatched from him in the last 20 yards.
