CYD CHARISSE was just being joined by Benmadigan at the last when Olmeto Collonges cannoned into the Nicky Richards-trained gelding and knocked that rival sideways. This left the way clear for the mare to get back up and gain a deserved victory. She is effective off this sort of mark and knows where the winning post is.
Olmeto Collonges, a half-brother to Neptune Collonges, was not going anywhere quickly with a circuit to go, but he kept going under pressure and was finishing to some effect before veering at the last. He really should be winning again soon.
Treaty Flyer was under pressure a long way out, so did really well to finish as close as she did. It has been a while since she showed any form.
Bay Hawk was going really well leaving the back straight but found little once in front. Kahrayn, dropping back in trip, looked really hard work and never troubled the leaders. He is starting to become disappointing.
