Bay Mouse with leader, led 12th, jumped right 4 out and 2 out, narrowly headed last, led flat, driven out
Lough Rynn held up in touch, went 2nd 13th, slight lead last, ridden and headed flat, not quicken
The Laying Hen held up towards rear, headway 13th, ridden and weakening when left 3rd 2 out
Zaffarani´s Star held up in touch, ridden and weakening when pulled up before 2 out, dismounted
Tupac Amaru held up towards rear, lost touch 12th, tailed off when pulled up after 3 out
Monty´s Panesar held up, struggling when mistake 14th, tailed off when pulled up before 2 out
Freedom Of Choice made most, jumped slowly 1st, headed and hit 11th, weakened quickly 12th, tailed off when pulled up after 13th
Ashby Jo behind until pulled up lame before 6th, dead
Foolish Myth with leader, led 11th to 12th, every chance when fell 2 out
That incident left BAY MOUSE and Lough Rynn to fight out the finish, with the former proving the stronger on the run-in.
The winner seems to be something of an in-and-out character, but blinkers for the first time clearly had the desired effect and it will be a case of whether the headgear works again with regards his future.
The Laying Hen pulled up feelingly.
Foolish Myth will be of interest next time as long as his confidence is not affected. He has a race of this nature in him off his current mark.
