Maori mid-division, effort on outside over 3f out, led 2f out, stayed on strongly
Herrera tracked leaders, effort 4f out, soon well outpaced, stayed on well approaching final furlong, took 2nd near line
Erdeli held up, smooth headway on outside 7f out, led and edged left over 2f out, soon headed, kept on same pace
Factotum tracked leader, not much room and switched right over 2f out, one pace
Hellzapoppin tracked leaders, took keen hold, effort over 2f out, kept on one pace
Enderby Light chased leaders, edged right over 1f out, kept on
Miss Serena mid-division, driven over 3f out, kept on, never a factor
Syriana chased leaders, lost place over 2f out
Enderby Princess slowly into stride, headway 5f out, one pace when pushed wide over 1f out
Drum Major led, headed over 2f out, soon lost place
Faraway Bay started slowly, pushed along in rear
Thankfully started slowly, always behind
Herrera, upped in trip, was tapped for foot entering the last two furlongs, but came home strongly to snatch second place well inside the last. She clearly stays well and she is now qualified for a handicap mark.
Hellzapoppin and Enderby Light showed a glimpse of ability, but Drum Major was disappointing.
