Billy Dane led, ridden along well over 2f out, driven well over 1f out and soon headed, edged left and weakened inside final furlong
Ahlawy held up, steady headway over 3f out, chased leaders over 1f out, soon ridden, edged left and one pace
Billy One Punch steadied start and held up in rear, headway over 2f out, switched left and ridden over 1f out, kept on well final furlong, not reach leaders
Cross The Line held up, headway 3f out, ridden to chase leaders over 2f out, soon driven and no impression
Bold Marc midfield, headway on outer 3f out, ridden along 2f out and soon no impression
Blue Spinnaker steadied start, held up and always towards rear

Just Bond, not as well drawn as the winner, ran a good race, but spoiled his chances by hanging to his right inside the last. He looks in good nick. Nevada Desert's spirited effort confirmed that his turn will come.
The remainder were well held. Ahlawy, not well drawn, ran respectably and should not be long in winning off the favourable mark to which he's now slipped. Billy One Punch was unableto overcome his wide draw.
