Crete held up in touch, quickened to lead on bit over 1f out, pushed clear inside final furlong
Trans Siberian led after 2f, ridden over 2f out, headed over 1f out, soon no chance with winner but kept on well to hold 2nd
Just Two Numbers mid-division, ridden over 2f out, stayed on under pressure final furlong to take 3rd, not reach leading duo
Dustoori mid-division, ridden over 2f out, stayed on from over 1f out and kept on inside final furlong but never going pace to be competitive
Emperor Court slight lead 2f, stayed disputing 2nd, hard ridden over 2f out, weakened final furlong
Balnagore in rear until stayed on final 2f, never in contention
Mount Hermon chased leaders, driven along 6f out, kept on same pace from over 2f out
Shogun Prince disputed 2nd 7f out to 3f out, weakened from 2f out
Del Mar Sunset in rear, ridden 3f out, some progress over 1f out
Pretty Demanding took keen hold in rear, ridden 3f out and no progress
Ross Moor slowly into stride, in rear, ridden 3f out and no progress
Folio always towards rear
Jebel Ali chased leaders 7f
Haarth Sovereign chased leaders to 3f out
Trans Siberian led homethe remainder. On any other occasion he would have been a good winner of a competitive looking race, having taken the lead early on. He is in good heart and appeared happy on the quicker ground.
This was a lot better from Just Two Numbers, who galloped on to the line on ground that would have been plenty quick enough for him.
At the age of four, the maiden Balnagore was having just his seventh start. He probably is not straightforward and was given quite an easy time. He could be one to keep a close eye on.
This was a lot tougher for Ross Moor under a 6lb penalty for an ordinary course-and-distance win. He was steadied at the start and kept on at one pace down the centre of the track.
