Shifting Star in touch in midfield, not clear run and switched left 2f out, ran on well under pressure to lead last 100yds, edged right near finish
Fabreze slightly hampered start, soon in touch, ridden halfway, headway and every chance 2f out, led entering final furlong, headed and no extra last 100yds
Brassini chased leaders until led after 2f, ridden just over 2f out, soon edging right, headed well over 1f out, kept on same pace
Opera Prince in touch on outer, headway over 2f out, led well over 1f out, soon ridden, headed entering final furlong, weakened last 100yds
Masada took keen hold, held up behind, headway and not clear run 2f out, gradually edged out right, kept on same pace final furlong
Lodi in touch, headway halfway, every chance under pressure over 1f out, weakened final furlong
Hadaf took keen hold, held up behind, effort 2f out, never pace to challenge
C´Mon You Irons led for 2f, stayed prominent, every chance and ridden well over 1f out, weakened entering final furlong
Valhillen chased leaders, ridden halfway, weakening when not much room 2f out, well behind final furlong
Dubai Power reared stalls, soon recovered, pressed leader after 2f, every chance well over 1f out, weakened quickly entering final furlong
What Katie Did went right start, soon chasing leaders, ridden and weakening when hampered 2f out, no chance after
While there were a couple of hampered runners, nothing could claim to have been unlucky as SHIFTING STAR had to wait for his gap before quickening nicely despite hanging right in the final furlong to win from an unpromising position going to the final furlong.
Fabreze showed good all-roundspeed down the middle and kept on pluckily to beat the rest well enough but he had been eased a few pounds after his defeat last time.
Brassini now looks in the handicapper's grip after his win but battled on well near the stands' rail.
Masada ran a shade better than the bare form and looks a 5f speedball. She could not find a gap when needed and had to switch right to the midtrack outside, showing a nice turn of foot until her run flattened out in the extra furlong.
Hadaf hardly looked like a 5f winner that he is as he looked to get outpaced at halfway on the stands' side before plugging on.
What Katie Did showed good speed but got buffeted around in the middle of the line into the last two furlongs to lose his chance.
