Regal Best held up in midfield, ridden and unable to quicken 3f out, went modest 3rd well over 1f out, stayed on strongly under pressure final furlong to lead towards finish
Desert Chill led, ridden over 2f out, clear entering final furlong, weakened last 100yds, headed and no extra towards finish
Hall Hee slowly into stride, held up in touch, not clear run and switched right over 2f out, rallied over 1f out, ran on well final furlong, not reach leading pair
Liberation Spirit chased leaders until went 2nd over 4f out, driven over 2f out, one pace and beaten over 1f out, lost two places final furlong
Timber Creek went left start, took keen hold, held up in touch, ridden well over 2f out, outpaced final 2f
Hevelius slowly into stride, soon ridden along in rear, plugged on past beaten horses final furlong, never on terms
Wouldn´Titbenice took keen hold early, held up behind, never trouble leaders
Futurity slowly into stride, well behind, switched left just over 2f out, some late headway, never dangerous
Headache held up in touch, ridden and effort on outer 3f out, no headway and well beaten last 2f
Harting Hill chased leaders, ridden well over 2f out, soon weakened
Royal Tartan chased leader until over 4f out, weakening when hampered over 2f out, soon well behind
REGAL BEST has done well over the winter but still looks a nervy sort. He got squeezed up around the home bend and was slightly outpaced but picked up takingly in the final furlong to win nicely. Connections plan to stay at this trip and look to handicaps.
Desert Chill got an uncontested lead and quickened up well into the last 2f to look an assured winner, but this leggyfilly got tired in the final 100 yards. Placed in all five career starts, she has done nothing wrong despite being tried over a variety of trips. She still has strengthening up to do and should not stay a maiden for long.
Hall Hee took the eye, and was arguably unlucky not to win as she was denied a run over 2f out and had to switch sharply, bumping a weakening rival before having to angle out again. She stayed on strongly in the final furlong, befitting a filly who has 10f and 12f winners in her family. She should soon make amends and could turn out best of the bunch.
Hevelius was far too green to do himself justice but was getting the hang of things into the last 2f only to have no running room. He should step up on the bare form considerably and has some size and scope to suggest he can progress more than most.
Royal Tartan was weakening when badly hampered by Hall Hee, while Timber Creek did not have the clearest run aroundthe home bend but was one paced through the final 2f.
Another newcomer Futurity was too green to do herself justice and can build on the bare form.
