Kiribati King held up, headway to lead over 9f out, ridden and headed 1f out, stayed on same pace towards finish
Fairfield Flame soon pushed along and prominent, ridden and hung left from over 2f out, not run on
Hamsat Elqamar led, headed over 9f out, ridden over 4f out, hung left over 3f out, stayed on same pace final furlong
Sonny Sam tracked leaders, lost place over 9f out, ridden over 4f out, headway and not much room from over 3f out, until stayed on same pace final furlong
Bouggler pulled hard, tracked leader, ridden over 2f out, soon switched right, stayed on same pace final furlong
Dance Easily held up, weakened over 3f out
Farsighted prominent, lost place 6f out, behind final 4f
Dramatic Solo tracked in third place for much of the way until closing right up in thestraight and went on over a furlong out but was just collared close home. She was having only the sixth run of her career and she should soon find a little race like this, especially over a slightly shorter trip.
Kiribati King was behind in the early stages but the slow early pace clearly didn't suit his rider and he made good progress over ten furlongs out to lead with nine furlongs to travel. He kept on at the one pace when headed but he can find a race in this grade in the near future.
Hamsat Elqamar was the early leader on sufferance and stayed on at the one pace in the final furlong. She gave the impression that two miles might suit her even better but is clearly only modest.
Sonny Sam was close up until losing his place a little over nine furlongs from home and looked short of room on the rails on several occasion in the closing stages, but it would be unwise to get too carried away with that impression as he could only plod on at the same pace close home.
