Farley Star held up, headway over 3f out, led over 1f out, ran on inside final furlong and always in command
Obezyana always prominent, ridden 2f out, led briefly over 1f out, ran on inside final furlong but always looked held
Minority Report dwelt, behind, switched right and headway 2f out, switched left to chase leaders over 1f out, held in 3rd when eased towards finish
Hurlingham in touch, effort over 2f out, carried head high under pressure, kept on but no impression on leaders inside final furlong
Stoic Leader raced keenly, tracked leaders, ridden 3f out, weakened over 1f out
Crocodile Bay raced keenly, led, ridden and headed over 1f out, weakened inside final furlong
White Deer towards rear, pushed along when not much room 3f out, struggled after, eased when no danger inside final furlong
Fiefdom prominent until ridden and weakened over 2f out
Obezyana, a winner over this course and distance last month, ran a blinder off an 8lb higher mark and ran her race out right to the line; she is still going the right way. Minority Report, led to the start, missed the break and was at the rear, nudged along, until picking up at the 2f pole. He ran a creditable race and has slipped to a good mark, though whether he is entirely straightforward is open to question.
Hurlingham looks to be coming to hand, and probably needs a stiffer test of stamina. Stoic Leader could never land a serious blow. Crocodile Bay led, but faded under pressure.
