Hypnotic behind, ridden and headway over 1f out, stayed on well final furlong, not reach leaders, one to note
Cheery Cat midfield, pushed along halfway, one pace final furlong
Rasaman in touch, effort over 1f out, no impression final furlong
Nordic Light behind, under pressure over 1f out, never troubled leaders
Gwilym prominent, ridden 2f out, weakened over 1f out

Steel Blue came out best of the rest and looks to be running into form. On only his second start of the campaign, John Keats shaped well, a lot better than his comeback run. Peter Island ran a creditable race on his second race back. Poppy's Rose continues to run respectably, while Hypnotic, back on turf, and having only his second start of the season, ran a pleasing race and may be finally coming back to form. Zamalik finished tailed off on his reappearance and was reported to have lost his action.
