EIJAAZ had gone three years without a win before nicking a seller at Catterick, but he made it two wins on the bounce when flashing home to take this thanks to what looked a useful turn of foot. This race would not have taken much winning, but the seven-year-old is clearly in great heart at present.
Lunar River seemed sure to score when cruising into the lead with her rider craning his neck in search of dangers. However, the mare is not a strong finisher and she failed to go forward in the way her passage to the front had promised.
Dr Light ran waybetter than might have been expected, while Faith And Reason also showed that he retains ability with a solid effort on his first racecourse appearance in 177 days.
