Crosby Jemma behind until headway over 1f out, nearest finish
Contemplation held up, headway when hampered over 1f out and inside final furlong, not recover
Grandad Bill held up, effort outside 3f out, no impression from 2f out
Sarraaf close up, led over 3f out to approaching final furlong, soon no extra
Ulysees held up, driven when hampered over 1f out, soon beaten
Not Another Cat towards rear, driven 3f out, soon beaten
Dark Charm tracked leaders, driven 3f out, weakened 2f out

March Mate, who had quite a bit to find at the weights, was travelling like the winner going to the final furlong but could not cope with Pianoforte. He came clear of the third.
Riverhill was close enough if good enough but just plugged on at the one pace.
Crosby Jemma was not able to get in a blow.
Contemplation was the unlucky horse in the race, having twice been hampered at vital times in the last quarter-mile.
