CHOREOGRAPHY was having only his second start for Jim Best, who does well with this type, and the addition of a huge pair of cheekpieces saw him improve significantly on his Salisbury debut for the stable, where he had been well backed. Making his effort on the rail, he got to the front approaching the furlong marker and held on well.
Patavium Prince is on a long losing run, but he will continue creeping up the handicap while he runs as well as this.
Wahoo Sam spoilt his finishing effort by hanging left, and he initiated interference which saw the keeping-on Sir Liam suffer worst, although he wasn't going well enough to get seriously involved.
Mannello, a stablemate of the winner and successful in a seller here on Sunday, was disappointing under his penalty, and connections concluded that this simply came too soon for him. His jockey reported that his mount ran flat.
Sion Hill, bidding for a hat-trick, tried to make all again but was in trouble with 2f to go. Mark Coumbe reported that he was unsuited by the ground.
