African Pursuits soon tracked leader, ridden 3f out, led well over 1f out, driven clear, eased inside final furlong
Hester Brook slowly away and well in rear, ridden 2f out, ran on strongly to go 2nd inside final furlong
Persian Fox took keen hold, in touch, disputing 2nd from over 1f out until lost that position inside final furlong
Sweet World tracked leaders, ridden to dispute 2nd from over 1f out, no extra inside final furlong
Poppy Red in touch, led well over 2f out, soon switched left to inside, headed well over 1f out, weakened quickly final furlong
Ledgerwood in touch, ridden 3f out, soon in rear
Rosy Dawn led, clear 4f out, headed well over 2f out, soon weakened
Veras Joy in rear, lost touch over 4f out
Prince Des Neiges slowly away, soon tailed off
Hester Brook, second in similar company last month, came from well back to take second again, ahead of Persian Fox, who had been a bit keen, and Sweet World, who looked second-best on the figures but ran below form.
