Hydrophonic slowly into stride, soon driven along, headway over 2f out, stayed on final furlong
Springfield Lass took keen hold in midfield, reminders over 2f out, never near leaders
Sheik´N´Knotsterd chased leaders, one pace when slightly hampered over 1f out
Rasmani led until over 1f out, faded
Anna Lane started slowly, behind until some headway final 2f
King Of Sparta started slowly, behind until some headway final 2f
Crossing Bridges slowly into stride, always towards rear
Fluoree chased leaders, lost place 3f out
Always Optimistic started slowly, well behind when hung left over 3f out, tailed off
RAMAAD had shaped well on both his previous starts, and after racing in touch, he quickened to lead inside the last furlong and ran on well. As he was narrowly beaten by a 79 horse on his previous start, the handicapper is unlikely to take many chances with him, and as he's not a three-year-old with a great deal of scope, he'll find life much tougher from now on.
Tableau Vivant didn't get the run of the race. Off the bridle turning for home, she came back on it in the straight, but had to be switched to get a run. By that stage the winner had gone, and she could only keep on to take second, well clear of the rest. She didn't look entirely happy on the ground, and she'll find a modest event, perhaps over further.
The one to take from the race is the newcomer Hydrophonic, who came from well off the pace to finish fourth, clear of the others. However, none of those behind him had shown much, so its hard to know quite what he achieved.
