BARTERCARD was making a quick reappearance after being beaten in handicap company at Lingfield at the weekend and had to thread his way through from an unpromisingposition to win. He was stepping back a furlong here and it seemed to suit.
Desert Dreamer had already won two of these earlier this year and this is his grade.
Takitwo, having his first run for a while, ran well enough but has done that inthe past and not really gone on.
Outer Hebrides would have finished closer but simply did not get the best of runs and was then hampered by the winner. He is value for finishing closer and seems to be finding his form.
Sticky Tape was making his debut and shaped as if he has one of these in him as he did not get going until all too late. There may well be better to come with this run to build on.
