AMICABLE TERMS has shown improved form when stepped up to 7f on her handicap debut and showed further improvement at this trip, travelling well just off the pace, and running on well. She got home by just a neck, but she would have won more convincingly had the second not hampered her, and she could well follow up.
South Wales is another lightly raced sort who had improved on his handicap debut. He stays 1m2f and had every chance, but spoilt his effort by hanging right in the final furlong.
Mganga is more exposed, and though he's dropped down to a fair mark, he hasn't the improvement of some of these.
Sarah's First came from off the pace without proving a serious threat, and Intersky Melody was keen, raced wide and faded after leading briefly in the straight.
Jakam raced in touch, but looked a bit short of pace in the straight and might be suited by a bit further.
