Not as strong a sprint handicap as it first appeared, with few having the solid recent form to command attention, and plenty failed to get into it. MISARO did not break half so well as he had done when second at Bath on his previous start but they went a really good pace up front and he was able to come from behind, still not in an obviously promising position at the top of the straight but staying on on the inside rail to lead close home.

Stablemate Best One had looked set to complete a hat-trick when going on in the straight and has clearly run another fine race - he looks to be thriving for his new trainer and he should continue to give a good account.

Mambo Spirit deserves just as many plaudits as he had to make his move on the wideoutside in the straight but finished very well and was not beaten far. This confirms that he is back in form and he is well worth keeping an eye on.

Coconut Moon has yet to hit top form this year but ran one of her better races on a track where she often goes well, ahead of Caribbean Coral, who had shaped well on his previous start but was outpaced from the off from his wide draw and could not get into things until it was too late. He needs things to drop right but will pop up sooner or later.

Dodaa ran well for a fair way from his wide draw but Fire Up The Band ran one of his lesser races.
