Muhannak made all, ridden clear over 1f out, ran on well and in command final furlong
Drawn Gold reared before start, started slowly, soon in midfield, headway over 6f out, went 2nd over 1f out, no impression on winner
Bull Market held up, ridden and headway 3f out, outpaced by leaders over 1f out, kept on under pressure after
Piper´s Song started slowly, held up, not clear run and pushed wide under 3f out, ran on and progress inside final furlong, never going to reach leaders
Lucayan Dancer midfield, lost place and not clear run 3f out, kept on under pressure final furlong, no impression on leaders
Cheshire Prince raced keenly, chased winner, ridden over 2f out, lost 2nd over 1f out, weakened inside final furlong
Komreyev Star tracked leaders, ridden over 4f out, weakened over 2f out, eased final furlong
Boo raced keenly, prominent, steadied 6f out, ridden over 4f out, weakened over 2f out
Soon in front, he made all and went clear in the straight for a comfortable victory. He benefited from a finely judged ride and had a relatively easy lead here, and may not find things so straightforward next time, but he clearly has the makings of a useful handicapper.
Drawn Gold was the other potential improver,having done well in 2007 and shaping encouragingly on his comeback, and his clear second gives the form a solid look.
Piper's Song also tried to come form behind and was thus not discredited.
LucayanDancer is well handicapped and has run well here, but does not seem at his best at present.
Cheshire Prince raced keenly and did not get home, while Komreyev Star had a stiffish task from out of the handicap.
