Orange Pip led after 1f and raced against near side rail soon after, drew clear from over 2f out, at least 4 lengths clear final furlong, eased final 100yds
Kannon in touch, progress to chase winner over 2f out, no chance from over 1f out, kept on
Presto Levanter in touch, progress on outer over 2f out, disputed 2nd over 1f out, no chance with winner
Candela Bay held up in last pair, effort over 2f out, stayed on from over 1f out, no chance of challenging
Chelsea Girl soon prominent on outer, weakened from 2f out
Sister Moonshine led 1f, chased winner to halfway, soon beaten
Tea Cake held up, going strongly over 2f out, not clear run well over 1f out, nudged along and lost touch
Miss Okaloosa struggling in last pair before halfway, never a factor
Noplace For A Lady prominent, urged along halfway, weakened over 2f out
Quickly over from an unpromising draw, she went clear inside the last 2f and cruised the final 150yds to be value for more than double the official margin. A strong deep-girthed filly, she looks progressive and capable of defying the handicapper again.
Kannon could not muster the midrace pace but was staying on steadily on this drop back in trip. She remains a maiden which says it all about the strength of the form.
Presto Levanter gave chase to her stablemate from 2f out but did not look overly happy on this drying ground. She is coming down the weights and looks to be getting to a winning mark, especially when she gets more juice in the ground.
Tea Cake did not get much running room midrace and deserves rating best of the rest, but she never threatened to make inroads on the principals
