An Scaribh took keen hold, held up in touch, progress to press leaders 2f out, led 1f out, soon clear
Kryptonite made most, ridden and hanging badly left 3f out, hung left and headed 1f out, kept on
Sergeant Sharpe slowly into stride, held up, progress to track leader over 3f out, challenged 2f out, not quicken and not much room 1f out, beaten after
Howe´s Jack took keen hold, held up, tracked leaders when not clear run 2f out, hung left and found nil final furlong
Golddigging in touch until weakened 3f out
Illusionary took keen hold, mostly tracked leader after 2f to over 3f out, weakened over 2f out
Pay The Grey prominent until ridden and lost place 4f out
Magnol dwelt, took keen hold, held up, ridden and struggling over 4f out
AN SCARIBH has improved for a step up to this sort of trip and is proving equally adept on turf and fibresand. This was probably quickening up enough for him as, after travelling up strongly he ran around under pressure, but was just too good for a poor field.
Kryptonite did not look overjoyed to have cheekpieces on as he hung his head alarmingly in the dash for home, wanting to hang badly left yet he held second.
Howe's Jack showed much more than recently. He saw little daylight behind the hanging runner-up but finished on the heels of the front three, which is rating did not entitle him to do. A seller looks well within his compass.
