Flying Clarets just doesn't know how to run a bad race and she ran another cracker here on acourse she loves. This trip would be a minimum for her and this ground would have been plenty quick enough, but only the winner got past her.
Fondled, who travelled nicely, was carried right when asked to make her move and was soon found wanting.
Treat, fourth in last year's 1,000 Guineas, was very disappointing on her reappearance and finished detached of the field, plum last of nine starters.
