Rock ´N´ Roller in touch on inner, pushed along over 3f out, switched right and ridden 2f out, driven and stayed on strongly inside final furlong to lead final 75yds
Aphorism dwelt, held up in rear, headway on outer 4f out close up 2f out, ridden to lead and hung left inside final furlong, headed and no extra final 100yds
At The Money led, ridden along over 3f out, driven over 1f out, edged left entering final furlong, soon headed and kept on same pace

Merrymaker chased leaders, ridden along over 3f out, driven 2f out and plugged on same pace
Brave Bugsy held up in touch, effort 4f out, ridden along 3f out and soon no impression
Tribe reared start and slowly away, in rear until rapid headway on outer over 4f out, close up over 2f out, soon ridden and weakened
Colwyn Bay in touch, headway over 6f out, ridden along over 3f out and soon weakened
Great As Gold held up towards rear, headway over 6f out, ridden along over 3f out, soon driven and weakened
Mt Desert prominent, ridden along 4f out, weakened 3f out
Aphorism, who ran as though something was amiss on her reappearance, shaped much better here. That said, having moved up on the bridle turning for home and looked the most likely winner early in the short straight, shehung to her left inside the last and was worried out of it close home. This trip might just have stretched her.
Thewhirlingdervish, who loves this place, ran a blinder and would have been even closer had he not been hampered a furlong from home. He may be in the twilight of his career, but he looks in good heart.
Merrymaker was ultimately well held and this trip may have been beyond him.
Brave Bugsy, upped in class, was unable to build on his Bath success.
