Tadalavil in touch, effort and ridden just over 2f out, every chance entering final furlong, unable to quicken last 50yds

Liberty Valance held up in touch, switched right and effort well over 1f out, every chance under pressure 1f out, faded last 100yds
Perfect Flight held up in touch, ridden over 2f out, kept on but never pace to challenge
The draw played little part here and WE HAVE A DREAM was able to overcome stall 7 and record his third win of the year and his second at Folkestone. He was up there all of the way and came back to lead again inside the final furlong after five of them had passed the furlong pole more or less in line. He is tough and uncomplicated, and although William Muir insists that the ground was faster than he prefers, he was not going to let that stop him.
Tyfos was steadied at the start but came through to have every chance. This was a step up on his reappearance.
Baunagain, back down to 6f, was 4lb better with the winner for under a length compared to their April meeting here and he had the rail to race against, but he was a bit keen and was just run out of things.
Alsadeek had become disappointing since his promising debut at Goodwood last year, but he looked a bit unlucky here. Having been held up, he was stuck behind the wall of five horses going into the final furlong and Richard Hills had to sit and suffer. He never had the opportunity to really go for the colt, and if he had seen a bit of daylight at the crucial moment he might well have won.
Liberty Valance had every chance a furlong out but what looked a promising effort petered out quickly and he beat only the filly Perfect Flight, who struggled.
