Mr Jack Daniells held up, shaken up after 3rd, taken wide and headway 5th, went 2nd next, led approaching 2 out, drew clear
Federstar headway 5th, went 3rd 2 out, kept on to take 2nd near finish
Longdale chased two clear leaders, ridden 3 out, went 2nd approaching next, one pace
Midnight Diamond chased leaders, ridden and weakened 3 out
Pendle Forest led, raced wide, headed approaching 2 out, soon weakened
Another Burden raced in last, behind from 5th, hit next, tailed off when pulled up before last
Federstar is lightly raced, and had been running over 2m4f. Although he kept on for second, he had no chance with the winner and probably needs better ground. Longdale has won here on soft ground, but although he travelled well down the far side, he was soon outpaced by the winner. Pendle Forest and Midnight Diamond set a strong gallop but both dropped right away.
