MIDNIGHT HAZE had won a point-to-point this spring and he showed a willing attitude on his first run under rules to collect. Quite what he beat has to be open to plenty of question though.
Boomtown Kat had been well beaten in her previous two attempts in this division so unless he improved dramatically his finishing position places another minus over the bare form.
Sleepy Mountain was beaten farther than on his debut so does not seem to have built on that.
