Analyis of the race

RICARDO'S CHANCE has come a long way since winning a selling hurdle for present connections at Hereford 15 months ago and he showed there might be a bit more to come as he followed up his Uttoxeter win last month in brave style. He needs a month or so between races according to his trainer and he wants this summer ground so he will be kept on the go.

Or Sing About is still paying for winning twice at this time last year but ran his race.

Jug Of Punch had won at Cheltenham in April but that remains one of jump racing's great mysteries as he has not approached that form since and the cheekpieces instead of blinkers did not make much difference.
