My Turn Now always prominent, led 6th, clear approaching 4 out, stayed on well
Valiant Shadow held up, blundered 2nd, headway and hampered 10th, chased winner from 13th, no impression from 14th
Stagecoach Opal jumped right, prominent, lost place 5th, reminders after 9th, headway 10th, weakened approaching 3 out
Bright Green held up and behind, headway 7th, ridden 13th, weakened 14th
Orion Star jumped right, prominent until weakened 11th
Overton Lad held up, reminders after 9th, headway 10th, outpaced 12th, rallied briefly approaching 4 out
Is She Convinced led to 6th, weakened 10th, tailed off when pulled up before 13th
Cengiz hampered and unseated rider 3rd
Mr Parson mistake 2nd, blundered and unseated rider 3rd
The winner looked as if he needed the headgear here, and if it works again he may well follow up under a penalty at this time of year.
Valiant Shadow was a stone inferior to the winner on hurdles ratings and that is about how they finished. He will be found an opportunity to go one better in the near future as he will not always bump into one asgood as My Turn Now.
Bright Green had been runner-up in a lesser contest than this last time and found things much more difficult.
