Thunder Hawk took keen hold, close up, led 3rd, made rest, stayed on strongly to pull clear between last 2
Hasper held up in touch, headway 10th, chased winner before last, kept on, no impression
Road King led to 3rd, close up until ridden and outpaced from 3 out
Super Cannes held up, headway 11th, went second 3 out to before last, soon beaten
Finest Of Men held up in touch, outpaced 4 out, no danger after
Humbel Origins chased leaders until outpaced from 4 out, no danger after
Itzacliche held up, headway on outside before 10th, ridden and weakened from 4 out
Oaklands Ted chased leaders to 10th, soon lost place
He´s A Dinger behind, lost touch from 10th
Hasper, making his debut under rules, came out best of the rest, but was unable to get in a blow at the winner. Road King, an old-timer, did pretty well to finish third, just ahead of Super Cannes, who was making his debut under rules after being in good heart between the flags.
