Daniel´s Dream in rear-division, outpaced 6th, modest 7th when blundered next, kept on

Perly Spencer chased leaders, lost place after 5th

Mysterious World in rear, some headway 5th, weakened next

Sea Cove chased leaders, reminders and lost place 4th, soon behind

A modest novices' handicap hurdle won by the nine-year-old THUNDERCLAP, who is rated just 68 and was getting of the mark at his 16th attempt. He made the running, but though he hung left, then hit the last he was still able to hold on.

It's hard to enthuse about the form, and even though Joshua's Gold travelled up well to have every chance at the second last, he didn't find a great deal and seems to struggle to get the trip.

Cockneys Revivial had every chance, but didn't find much. Haroum was quite keen.
