Tot Of The Knar mid-division, headway after 5th, led after 6th, went left and mistake 3 out, soon clear, readily
Mr Dass held up towards rear, ridden and good headway after 3rd, went 2nd and hung left approaching 2 out, no chance with winner
Dew Drop Inn led, blundered 5th, headed after next, weakened approaching 2 out, just hung on for moderate 3rd
Marigolds Way chased leaders, ridden after 6th, weakened after next
Wise Men Say mid-division, headway 5th, went 3rd next, soon ridden, weakened after 3 out
Shade Bonny mid-division, ridden and weakened approaching 3 out
Chief Of The Clan mid-division, ridden after 6th, 5th and beaten when blundered badly 3 out, weakened
Hands Free mid-division, ridden after 6th, soon weakened
Stockton Flyer chased leader until slow jumps 2nd and 3rd, soon behind, tailed off and pulled up after 6th
Indian Sage in touch until after 5th, tailed off and pulled up before 3 out
Iamwhatiam chased leaders until weakened approaching 6th, tailed off and pulled up before 2 out
Mr Dass is flattered to get so close to the ready winner on his first run for his new team but this was a wholesale improvement on his three previous tries as he actually got round and did not pull up. As he saw off the others well enough, there might be one of these in him. Dew Drop Inn had shown some ability in bumpers and was not disgraced on her first venture over hurdles. She maywell come on for the experience.
