Resplendent Light tracked leading pair on inner, headway over 2f out, ridden well over 1f out, stayed on to lead just inside final furlong, just held on
Sundowner in touch on inner, headway 3f out, ridden along 2f out, switched left and driven entering final furlong, stayed on strongly, just failed
The Betchworth Kid held up towards rear, good headway on outer over 2f out, ridden to challenge over 1f out and every chance when hampered and switched right entering final furlong, soon driven and kept on
Yes Mr President tracked leader, led over 2f out, ridden and hung badly left approaching final furlong, driven and kept on well under pressure
West With The Wind dwelt and in rear until good headway on outer to track leaders after 4f, effort 3f out, ridden along 2f out, soon driven and one pace entering final furlong
Step This Way led, ridden along 3f out, headed over 2f out, driven and still every chance 1f out, no extra inside final furlong
Celt held up, headway over 2f out, ridden and staying on when hampered just inside final furlong, kept on towards finish
Suzi´s Decision midfield, headway 3f out, ridden over 2f out, soon driven and kept on same pace
Ruff Diamond always towards rear
Gala Casino Star held up, always towards rear
Society Venue midfield, headway and in touch halfway, effort to chase leaders 4f out, ridden along over 2f out, soon driven and weakened

Stop On chased leaders, ridden along 3f out, soon weakened
RESPLENDENT LIGHT has proved suited by the step up to 1m4f, and, racing in touch, he was left in front a furlong out and ran on in good style. He may improve a little more as he is basically unexposed at the trip, but he was suited by the way things panned out, whereas runner-up Sundowner was seta bit more to do but came home well and, though he just failed, should soon find a similar event.
The Betchworth Kid was a close third after being hampered, so he ran a sound enough race.
West With The Wind looked all at sea on the track and did well to finish as close as he did after a slow start, and he will certainly prove better than this.
Step This Way dictated the gallop, Celt never featured, but the race did not pan out ideally for him and Suzi's Decision, who was running over this trip for the first time, was a bit keen, did not get the best of runs, and though still to prove her stamina, could not be judged on this run.
