Rose Cheval mid-division, soon driven along, lost place 4f out, switched left over 1f out, ran on inside final furlong
Claphands slowly into stride, headway over 1f out, not trouble leaders
Sonett soon prominent, ridden and hung left over 1f out, weakened final furlong
Sicilian Pink dwelt, some headway over 2f out, weakened over 1f out
Well Of Echoes led, headed over 3f out, ridden and hung left over 2f out, weakened over 1f out
Alayala prominent, hung left throughout, weakened well over 1f out
Colangnik slowly into stride, always in rear
Halaak unruly in stalls, slowly into stride, headway over 3f out, ridden and weakened over 2f out
Bella Olympia started slowly, outpaced
Gal Aloud also showed the benefit of experience, stepping up on her first effort at Newmarket, leading over three furlongs out to over two furlongs out, and is clearly up to winning a maiden.
Fellow newcomer Ahla Wasahl travelled well for a long way and is sure to improve, as is Rose Cheval, who was outpaced early and did well to finish as close as she did. Claphands is another who should build on an encouraging debut, while Sicilian Pink should prove capable of better.
