Dorn Dancer towards rear, effort 2f out, stayed on final furlong, never near leaders
Vanatina chased leaders, one pace final 2f
Salerosa chased leaders on outside, soon driven along, hung right and one pace final 2f
Princess Rhianna prominent, effort on inner over 2f out, hung left and weakened over 1f out
Pay Time reared start, switched right after start, never a factor
Veronicas Way chased leaders, hung left 2f out, soon weakened
Lady Amberlini started slowly, in rear, some late headway
Mugeba in rear, behind final 2f
Ensign´s Trick chased leaders, lost place 2f out
Analyis of the race
Yet another event competitive enough if modest and won gamely by MEDICI PEARL, who kept responding to her rider's urgings to wear down the runner-up. She is on a reasonable mark so now she has got her heads in front there may be a bit more to come and 1m will be okay on this evidence.
Orpen Fire made a bold bid to lead from pillar-to-post and kept on well enough to hold off all but the winner. She was having only her fourth run and has scope to progress.
Montiboli was always handy and kept on without quite being able to get there. She is a consistent individual.
Dressed To Dance kept on from off the pace, but her two wins this term have been on fast ground over a furlong shorter.
Dorn Dancer had a bad draw and is better over 5f and 6f anyway.
There may be better to come from Salerosa with a bit more experience and a more galloping track.
