Heywood tracked leader, led just inside final furlong, kept on well
H Harrison led until headed and no extra just inside final furlong
Obe Royal chased leaders, kept on same pace final furlong
Violent Velocity dwelt, headway over 2f out, not much room over 1f out, never reached leaders
Makshoof chased leaders on outside, kept on same pace approaching final furlong
Prince Namid with leaders on outer, driven over 2f out, faded final furlong
Paris Bell hood removed very late, started slowly, took keen hold in rear, always in rear
Dig Deep chased leaders, not clear run over 1f out, not recover, eased
HEYWOOOD showed he was on the way back over this trip last time and he improved on that to win nicely. This will not be his last success this season.
H Harrison took the field along and kept all bar the winner at bay. He looks to be on the way back and it is interesting that the last five of his wins have been over a furlong further.
\Obe Royal is still seeking his first win on Turf and left a bit more evidence here that a little race can come his way on that surface.
Violent Velocity missed the break and when forced to make his run on the inner was never able find any room so it wasn't a bad effort and he is running consistently well and deserves to get his head in front.
Prince Namid was soon prominent but he was having to be routed along on the turn and he was one paced up the straight. He is most effective when able to dominate.
Dig Deep's run can be ignored. He could not find any daylight on the inside and with nowhere to go became unbalanced and lost his action.
